Application for: Hetal Dave

Please feel free to comment and interact with the applicant below.

Who? (Tell us about you. Your name, where you work, etc. Anything relevant to the Application.)

I am Hetal Dave. I work as Tech Lead at Verndale. I work with Sitecore XM/XP/Commerce projects mainly.

Why Me? (Here is your chance to explain why people need to vote for you. What contributions have you made to help the community.)

While I have not presented at user groups or have been very active within the stack exchange or slack recently, I have published some quality blog posts (https://davehetal.wordpress.com) covering set up and troubleshooting with Sitecore Commerce this year. And I have received very good response to those posts (based on LinkedIn Post analytics). I was also awarded uCommerce MVP for the year 2017/2018 for similar work I did with uCommerce and uCommerce integration with Sitecore.
I remain committed to Sitecore as my most favorite Tech Stack and look forward to publish good quality and helpful posts for Sitecore compatriots in future as well as be more active within communities than I have been in past. It would be an honor and great encouragement to be recognized within the Sitecore community.

  1. Great to see you join. You deserve to win one with all the Sitecore Commerce contributions you are making. Helping lots of people on Sitecore Commerce Mentoring Guild through answering questions and blog posts.

  2. Hetal has been a great support while trying to discover how the “out of the box features” of Sitecore Commerce works, such as Wish Lists and Engagement plans and some other, as well as involving herself selflessly to guide us to resolve the issues faced and to implement customized features like Quotes.

  3. Hetal has come into Verndale recently and has been a Sitecore force to be reckoned with! She loves Sitecore, no doubt and within weeks (days?) she had become a key part of the Sitecore team here. She is always quick to answer questions, learn as much as possible whenever she can (including diving into learning as much as possible with Sitecore 9) and evangelize on new techniques and ideas that are out there. We are not only consider ourselves lucky to have her on our team now, but happy we can share her with the community at large!
