My name is Kamruz Jaman. I work as a freelance gun for hire and Slack :troll:. I’ve been working with Sitecore since 6.0, when it was still the Page Editor and everything didn’t have an X in it.
Some of you might know me as @jammykam since it’s the handle I use for all my online things. Others probably know me as as the “The Real Kam” 😀
Why Me? (Here is your chance to explain why people need to vote for you. What contributions have you made to help the community.)
I love this friendly community which we are all a part of. Even after all these years, not a week goes by where I am learning something new from all the great work from others in the community – be it through their blog posts, videos, github repos or user groups. The community is built by us, and I feel it is therefore important to share and give back, no matter how small those contributions may be.
Over the years, I’ve kept active within the community by sharing anything I’ve found interesting through my blog and sharing code on Github. I had also been very active on StackOverflow for several years, helping users with their Sitecore related questions. In more recent times we have our own community Q&A site through https://sitecore.stackexchange.com which I was very active in promoting into beta phase as well asking and answering questions and very proud of all the effort the community has put into this. I have also been a very active member and admin of the Slack community since it’s inception (2 years ago, wow!), which itself has been amazing – never before did so many of us have a chance to talk directly outside of usergroups and conferences. But mainly I do it for the trollz :p
