Hi, I’m Martin (or TwentyGotoTen if you’re Twitter inclined). I’m an MVP and senior developer at platinum Sitecore partner, Kagool. I’ve worked exclusively on Sitecore projects for over 5 years.
Why Me? (Here is your chance to explain why people need to vote for you. What contributions have you made to help the community.)
I think I’m solid all-rounder. I take part in blogging, stack exchange and the various social platforms to varying degrees. I’m hardly one of the community rockrstars that everone knows, but I’ve been actively and steadily involved for a long time.
Over the last couple of years I’ve worked hard to help build and strengthen the Sitecore community in the UK. I’ve organised, hosted, compèred, and presented at user groups thoughout the country. We’re seeing fantastic results. Attendance is growing all the time, and I feel like the community is more vibrant than ever.
While I’m always excited about new the features in the latest version of Sitecore, I prefer to focus on helping people with the fundamentals – there’s plenty of new stuff to discover, even in the oldest parts of the platform. My philosophy is “if I just learned something new, then somebody else hasn’t learned it yet”. I also think it’s just as helpful to ask questions from the community as it is to answer them.
