Hi! My name is Michael West and I work for Concentra (Sitecore Client). I started working on Sitecore in 2013 where I contributed to my first project on the Sitecore platform.
Why Me? (Here is your chance to explain why people need to vote for you. What contributions have you made to help the community.)
I’ve been fortunate enough to work alongside other great leaders in the Sitecore community. Adam Naj., Akshay, and Mark Cassidy are examples of those who have mentored me in different areas, which I very much appreciate. Please vote for anyone of those three before even considering my application.
Working with Adam, I’ve had the opportunity to contribute to SPE. Much of what I know is due to the fact that I needed to learn how to work with the Sitecore API in order to build appropriate commands.
Mark has helped me become a better contributor to the Sitecore Stack Exchange. I’m certain that my questions/answers could be written better and I appreciate when Mark encourages me to do so.
Akshay has given me the opportunity to be a member of the Sitecore Slack Community. His generosity has really made my experience a fantastic one.
There are many other members of the community far more qualified than I. If you do decide to vote for me – thank you.
The 2 Mikes (Mike Reynolds and Mike West) are my super heroes. As I was learning new things they were already blogging about them. The Mike’s deserve this award as does Adam simply for Sitecore Powershell alone. The community now cheers with thank yous.
Michael, I take this platform as an oppurtunity to appreciate the great support you’ve given me. It was michael who guided me in sitecore SXA implementation & sitecore powershell. He is a very good support and mentor. I’ve seen him supporting members in the community chat. Not to forget, he is an expert in sitecore powershell and always gives” THE” best solution to the issue/implementation.
