Who? (Tell us about you. Your name, where you work, etc. Anything relevant to the Application.)

Hey! My name is Richard Seal – you may know me better as GuitarRich on Slack and SSE and rich_seal on twitter. I currently have the joy of working with Jason Wilkerson (@longhorntaco) at RBA – a Sitecore Platinum Partner, where we create amazing things with Sitecore! I have been working with Sitecore since 2009 – got my first certification in v6.0 – was a different world back then!

Why Me? (Here is your chance to explain why people need to vote for you. What contributions have you made to help the community.)

In recent years I discovered that Sitecore has an amazingly vibrant community and becoming a part of that really took my interest and skillz in Sitecore to places I never thought possible.

I contribute to a few community projects, from joining Jason Bert on the Fortis team (The other Sitecore ORM/Wrapper), to my own community module Sitecore.React – its great to be able to bring something to the community that others find useful. I do my best to support and keep these projects updated as time will allow. With various blog posts on https://sitecorenutsbolts.net to help out too.

When I’m not working, blogging or updating those projects, you can find me active on the Sitecore Slack channels, where I am part of the admin team, promoting and moderating those channels – and this year I was honored to be chosen as one of the 3 moderators for the now 1 year old Sitecore Stack Exchange community Q&A website, alongside Mark Cassidy and Dmytro Shevchenko! What a year it has been, we have worked hard to promote the site and get the knowledge about it to Sitecore devs all over the world and now have over 2600 questions on there – a truly amazing resource all built by YOU GUYS!

This community rocks and I love being a part of it. If you do vote for me – then thanks! I think we all should be friends!
