We as a Sitecore Community — honestly, we are just one big Sitecore family 🙂  — espouse #DiversityInTech.  The following quotes embody what we hold dear and true in our Community:

Diversity has to do with more than race or ethnicity. Diverse workplaces are composed of employees with varying characteristics including, but not limited to, religious and political beliefs, gender, ethnicity, education, socioeconomic background, sexual orientation and geographic location.

A company with workplace diversity employs individuals from a wide variety of backgrounds who have different characteristics, beliefs and experiences. Some elements that account for workplace diversity include race, gender, religion, sexual orientation, age, thinking style, educational background, etc. Companies with a diverse workplace are usually open to a plethora of ideas in order to further their business and better meet the needs of consumers.

the condition of having or being composed of differing elements

the inclusion of different types of people (such as people of different races or cultures) in a group or organization

the inclusion of individuals representing more than one national origin, color, religion, socioeconomic stratum, sexual orientation, etc.

We encourage everyone to participate.  It does not matter what your socioeconomic background is; where you come from; where you live; what gender you identify with; what your sexual orientation, ethnicity, or race are, nor what your your favorite foods or TV shows are, please share your Sitecore knowledge with the rest of the community through whatever means you can.

We want everyone to participate in the Community by speaking at the Sitecore Symposium, Sitecore User Groups, SUGCON Europe and SUGCON India; write blog posts; share on Twitter, on the Sitecore Facebook Groups, LinkedIn, et al. social media channels.

None of us can move together as one Sitecore Community if we can’t help each other to move forward.
